General Instructions
- The reactor should be used only by trained personnel
- Twist the screw-type threaded stainless steel (SS) cap in an anti-clockwise direction.
- Remove the SS lid (one at the top of the PTFE chamber and the other is on the bottom of the PTFE chamber)
- Take our the PTFE chamber and add the solvent into the PTFE liner (Note: Ensure that the total volume of the solvent is always less than 80% of the full capacity of the PTFE liner)
- Make sure that the PTFE cap is air-tight to avoid pressure leakage
- Place the PTFE liner and the SS lids in the original position
- Twist the SS cap in a clockwise direction and use the metal rod to further tighten the cap to avoid pressure leakage
- The autoclave reactor is now ready for heating in a oven
